Poppy’s Tots
Welcome to our Poppy’s Tots page!
Poppy’s tots has been created as an extension of our fabulous Poppys Pre-School (Located in the annex at Poppleton Road Primary school).
Our mother and baby group will be primarily run by Sadie who works at Poppys Pre-School.
Sadie has worked in early years for over 14 years, spending the majority of those years in baby-based settings.
She has a BA Hons in early childhood development and is passionate about delivering opportunities for young children and their families.
Our vision for Poppy’s Tots is to create a homely, relaxed environment which will benefit the community. Our sessions will run on Thursday mornings 10-11.30 during term time at Poppleton Road Memorial Hall in Oak Street. We would like all families to benefit from the relaxed, supportive environment Poppy’s tot will be.
We will be a donation only group, no set sign up or mandatory fees to attend. In doing this we will create an inclusive, accessible group for all, where parents and carers and families feel welcome, can relax, have a cuppa and a chat. While their children benefit from the resources available, the social interaction and the stimulation the group will provide.
Poppy Tots strives to be a community hub where we can make new friends, build social skills and confidence and a place to ask for support or advice if needed. We understand parenthood can be a challenge and we would like the community to view us as a safe space.
